Carwyn is a busy chap; in between fronting his Coloroma and Zarelli projects, he’s often found in the studio working with the likes of Edwyn Collins, Sarah Cracknell, Roddy Frame, Unkle & James Hunter to name a few. How he found the time for this guest mix, we’ve no idea! Here’s what he has to say about it: “As I’m in the habit of constructing themed compilations and mixes for my Soho Radio shows, I thought I’d brush up and try to be an expert in ‘the field’. My research ploughed up a number of delightful pieces, some completely new to me, and others as familiar as a pair of well-worn wellies. I really enjoyed cultivating this mix, so wear some suitable clothes and come along for Afield Trip into pleasant sonic pastures.”
