Vol. 29 sees us venture further afield than we’ve ventured before. Join us as we hop aboard a Qantas airbus, pack our bottle cork hats, and hit up Melbourne and the impossible to define, genre jumping, cosmic-jazz-funksters, Mildlife. Their Phase LP from 2018 is still a heavy hitter in our office; so much heavy rotation it’s at the point of deterioration – oh, that rhymes. It’s a proper synth-heavy, noodley, funkalicouus, cosmic jazz journey that will have you scratching your feet and shuffling your head … or is the other way round. Either way it’s mega, and if you don’t own it, you need to. For now though, here’s a 70 minute mix into what floats the Mildlife boat.
