Read Further - Dress your best: Wedding Guest Outfit Inspiration
It has come to that time of year where weekends are taken over by drives to the country, endless speeches, and (hopefully) open bars: wedding season. If you are looking forward to catching up with old friends over a slap up meal and a boogie, but picking your outfit is filling you with dread, we’ve got your back.
The stylish gents at Far Afield HQ have picked out what they would wear to a city elopement, country ceremony or beach-side bash, and thrown in some styling tips for good measure.
Mark’s pick – City Wedding
I would choose our Navarro Floral White Short Sleeve Shirt or Epik Multi Mod Button Down, teamed with our linen Pleat Trousers and matching suit jacket in grey. Keep things contemporary by pairing your suit with white Spring Court sneakers – perfect for pounding the pavements on a post-nuptials pub crawl.
Charlie’s pick – Country Wedding
It has to be our Selleck Shirt in Epik print – the camp collar shape is everywhere right now and adds a relaxed, retro vibe to classic suit jackets. Popping the collar over the lapel lets the shape shine! If you are wearing a blue suit, choose red – it’s a classic combo. The short sleeved style will keep things fresh if you need to take your jacket off for lawn games, and the linen fabric will save you from sweat patches. Can’t go wrong.
Chris’ pick – Beach Wedding
Heading overseas for a beach or poolside wedding? Lean into it with a pair of our printed Swim Shorts – I would choose the Red Hip Square print and pair it with our Leon Polo in grey/biscotti. Button the polo to the top to keep things sharp.
